Terms of Service
Last updated 19 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of LetsGetSurfaced (the "Service"), provided by LetsGetSurfaced Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17382741, registered office: 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you're subscribing on behalf of an organisation, you're confirming you have authority to bind that organisation.
1. The Service
LetsGetSurfaced crawls your website, tests how AI models including Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google) and Perplexity talk about your brand, and turns the results into a weekly briefing covering AI visibility, competitor analysis, SEO health, content quality and structured data.
We rely on third-party AI providers to generate parts of this analysis. We don't control those providers' infrastructure, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted access where a disruption originates on their side rather than ours.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
3. Subscriptions, billing and pricing
Current pricing and what's included at each tier is published on our Pricing page and inside the app; that page is the source of truth, not a fixed number restated here.
- All payments are processed in GBP through Stripe. We don't store your full card details ourselves.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at your then-current tier and price, until cancelled.
- If we change subscription prices, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to your account. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, we'll retry and notify you. If payment remains outstanding for more than 7 days, we may suspend access until it's resolved.
Changing your plan. You can switch tiers or adjust add-ons any time from Manage billing inside the app.
- Moving to a higher tier, or adding more brands/queries/checks, applies immediately: we charge a prorated amount for the rest of your current billing period.
- On a monthly plan, moving to a lower tier or removing add-ons also applies immediately, with a prorated credit for the unused portion applied to a future invoice.
- On an annual plan, a downgrade (a lower tier, fewer add-ons, or switching to monthly billing) doesn't apply straight away. You keep your current plan and full access for the rest of the year you've already paid for, and the new plan starts at your next renewal. We do this instead of crediting back part of a year you've already paid for. We'll always show you the exact date it takes effect before you confirm.
4. Free trial
New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start a trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then from Manage billing inside the app with nothing taken.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel any time from Manage billing inside the app: no call or email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. We don't charge cancellation or exit fees.
If something wasn't right and you cancel within 14 days of your first real charge, get in touch and we'll review a refund for that charge. This is a manual review by a real person rather than an automatic refund, so we can look at the specifics of your case.
6. AI outputs: please read this carefully
Reports, briefings and recommendations are generated with the help of third-party AI models, grounded in a real crawl of your site. They're provided for informational purposes to help you prioritise your own work.
AI-generated content can still be incomplete, out of date, or occasionally wrong. You're responsible for reviewing and verifying any recommendation before acting on it, and nothing in the Service constitutes legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Where we quote what an AI model said about your brand, that's a report of the model's output at the time it was tested. AI models can and do give different answers to the same question on different days, which is exactly the kind of inconsistency our full-crawl methodology is designed to make sense of, not eliminate entirely.
7. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
We (or our licensors) own all rights in the Service itself: the platform, the interface, our brand and our documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own business purposes for as long as you're subscribed. You don't get any rights to our IP beyond that, and you shouldn't try to copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service.
Reports and briefings generated for your account are yours to use for your own business purposes. Underlying AI outputs from third-party providers may also be subject to those providers' own terms.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if payment remains unresolved, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service creates legal risk for us or our AI providers. Where practical, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first. If we terminate your subscription for reasons other than your own breach, you'll get a proportionate refund for any unused prepaid period.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or loss of data caused by something outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or a notice inside the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the update.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you're entitled to under the law of your own country of residence if you're an EU/EEA consumer.
